The L-350 is PlaneWave's smallest L-Series direct-drive mount, carrying up to 45 kg. Direct-drive motors on both axes give zero backlash and zero periodic error with near-silent motion and slews of up to 50° per second, quick enough to track satellites. It installs in alt-azimuth or equatorial orientation and suits the DeltaRho 350, CDK12.5, CDK14, IRDK12.5 and IRDK14.
Control
High-resolution encoders on each axis, home sensors and enclosed electronics are standard, with equipment cables routed through the mount. Control uses PlaneWave's PWI4 with integrated PointXP mount modelling, fully ASCOM compatible.
