Helical focusing provides fine adjustment for a guide camera. The original version is equipped with a finder bracket for attachment to a suitable telescope.
Mounting configuration
This original finder-bracket configuration is kept separate from the later dovetail-equipped version; the latter’s additional mounting hardware and assembled weight are not assigned to it.
Optional imaging correction
The dedicated EvoGuide 50ED field flattener is a separate accessory. Use its instructions for sensor spacing and camera attachment when configuring the guidescope for imaging.
