Construction and fit
The component is CNC-machined aluminium with a black-anodised finish. It is directly compatible with the GM1000 HPS. The AZ1000 HPS needs the dedicated 10M1120 adapter; native GM compatibility does not imply direct AZ compatibility.
Cable arrangement
10Micron recommends the 10M1072 extended control-box-to-mount cable because the half pillar increases separation between the mount head and electronics. The pillar is a clearance accessory; it does not increase the mount’s instrument payload rating.
The manufacturer specifies 130 mm useful height. An unverified overall height or weight from a reseller listing is not added. AZ1000 requires its dedicated adapter.
