The Celestron Focus Motor brings precise, motorised focusing to Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain, EdgeHD and RASA telescopes, so you can focus remotely and use autofocus routines without touching the telescope.
A DC servo motor with 1000 steps per revolution drives the telescope's own focus knob at three speeds. It connects to the mount's AUX port or directly to a computer over USB, and works with the Celestron Focuser Utility (Windows), CPWI and ASCOM.
Celestron lists the Focus Motor for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes made after 2006 (except the 5-inch SCT), EdgeHD and RASA telescopes, and the 7-inch Maksutov-Cassegrain.
