This 72 mm FPL53 and lanthanum air-spaced doublet has a 432 mm focal length and f/6 focal ratio. It is intended for visual astronomy and astrophotography with the appropriate camera train.
The 2.5-inch dual-speed RAP focuser has 80 mm travel, a 5 kg accessory rating and an M63 × 1 female imaging thread.
A matched optional 1× flattener provides full-frame correction at the native focal length. The optional 0.8× corrector gives approximately 346 mm f/4.8 for APS-C cameras; both documented configurations use 55 mm from their M48 camera thread.
Current manufacturer TSApo72f6 configuration: FPL53/lanthanum doublet and 2.5-inch RAP focuser. Table says 1:10 fine reduction while prose says 1:11; fine gearing is not treated as a resolved revision guarantee.
