The Moravian G1-2000C is a compact colour CCD camera for autoguiding and imaging small, bright targets. It uses Sony's UXGA ICX274AQ progressive-scan CCD with an RGBG Bayer mask. An integrated fan keeps the sensor close to ambient temperature, often more than 10 °C cooler than closed designs, which lowers dark current. The camera is powered entirely from its USB connection.
Guiding calculations run on the PC, allowing star centroiding to about a tenth of a pixel. The camera provides a standard autoguider port for mount control and handles the precise timing of guide pulses.
