10Micron AZ3000 HPS is an alt-azimuth GoTo mount rated for 100 kg of instrumentation. The mount weighs 65 kg without accessories and uses absolute encoders mounted directly on the axes, brushless servo motors and a precision worm drive.
The published slew range is 2–12°/s. Its mechanical system uses 50 mm stainless-steel counterweight-shaft hardware, preloaded bearings and timing-belt reduction with automatic backlash recovery.
The internal pointing model supports up to 100 alignment points and compensation for polar alignment, orthogonality, atmospheric refraction and system flexure. Manufacturer tracking examples refer to a modelled system; telescope rigidity, model quality and observing conditions still affect results.
A heated, dimmable keypad provides standalone operation. Ethernet, Wi-Fi/web control and RS-232 support remote workflows, with separate GPS and ST-4 interfaces. The mount uses 24 V DC; power-supply and receiver connections must match the control-box generation.
Long-exposure imaging needs a separate field derotator to compensate for alt-azimuth field rotation. A separate double-telescope kit supports a secondary instrument; the specified secondary rating is 65 kg. Counterweights are sold separately. The technical table lists the standard package and separates operating temperature from storage limits.

10Micron model technical sheet
Mechanical wheel data follows the exact AZ3000 technical sheet: AZ 315 teeth/247 mm and ALT 255 teeth/192 mm. The manufacturer catalogue instead gives 244 mm/250 teeth. This unresolved manufacturer discrepancy is retained explicitly, not silently replaced with equatorial-model values.
