The ASI676MM is an uncooled monochrome astronomy camera built around the Sony IMX676. Its 7.104 × 7.104 mm sensor records 3552 × 3552 pixels with 2 µm sampling.
The manufacturer specifies a 12-bit ADC, 10,550-electron full well, 83% peak quantum efficiency and read noise of 0.56–2.9 electrons. Capture speed is 31.2 fps RAW8; 15.6 fps RAW16 at full resolution. Smaller regions of interest can increase frame rate; speed depends on ADC mode, output format, exposure and connection.
Monochrome capture supports luminance and filtered imaging. Use suitable external filters to select the wavelength range for lunar, planetary or specialist imaging.
The USB connection supplies power and transfers images. The camera uses a M42 × 0.75 interface, with 12.5 mm sensor spacing. Its 21 × 1.1 mm AR-coated window protects the sensor. The body is 62 mm in diameter and weighs 126 g. Match optical adapters and any external filter to the required telescope spacing.
