The 10Micron 10M1120 adapter is the required interface for using the 10M1012 half pillar with the AZ1000 HPS mount. The half pillar raises the mounting point to provide more clearance between the optics and supporting tripod.
The 10M1012 fits the GM1000 directly, but the AZ1000 needs this dedicated flange adapter. It is not the GM1000-to-CENTAURUS tripod adapter and is not a complete half-pillar assembly.
