Double-telescope arrangement

The matched kit provides a second instrument position, with a published secondary capacity of 65 kg. Its CNC-machined, black-anodised aluminium hardware accepts the manufacturer’s supported clamping arrangements. Clamping plates are selected and ordered separately; the kit is not a pair of included universal saddles.

Tracking and imaging

The internal pointing model supports up to 100 alignment points with refraction and mechanical-error compensation. Alt-azimuth long-exposure imaging still requires field derotation. Lodual or Maxidual plates can support additional instrument arrangements, but all loads must remain within the appropriate primary and secondary limits.

Control and standard equipment

Mechanical wheel data follows the exact AZ3000 technical sheet: AZ 315 teeth/247 mm and ALT 255 teeth/192 mm. The manufacturer catalogue instead gives 244 mm/250 teeth. This unresolved manufacturer discrepancy is retained explicitly, not silently replaced with equatorial-model values. DT denotes the double-telescope configuration; maker kit documentation explicitly excludes clamping plates. Package hardware is not inferred from unrelated photographs.
