The objective uses a precision aluminium cell. An aluminium tube with internal anti-reflective treatment and baffles helps suppress stray light.
The supplied focusing arrangement is Starlight Instruments Feather Touch FTF3545; rotating; 9:1 fine reduction; 2-inch collet. TEC specifies 260 mm from the focuser reference to the focal plane; this telescope backfocus is distinct from the spacing of an optional reducer or flattener.
The manufacturer lists an OTA estimated weight of 21 kg and a tube length of 2325 mm. Accessory-loaded weights, where supplied, are shown separately in the technical table.
