EQ8 10 kg counterweight

The Sky-Watcher 10 kg counterweight is specified for the EQ8 mount family. It provides adjustable balancing mass on the matching counterweight shaft.

EQ8-R family use

The EQ8-R/RH manual documents two 10 kg counterweights in the mount configuration. An individual accessory listing is one 10 kg counterweight; it is not a pair simply because the complete mount uses two.

Fit and handling

Use the correct EQ8-family shaft and secure its retaining stop. The manufacturer product page does not publish the counterweight’s external dimensions or bore, so those dimensions are not inferred.
