TS-Optics Imaging Star 100 Quadruplet OTA

This 100 mm quadruplet flat-field refractor has a 580 mm focal length and f/5.8 focal ratio. It is intended for visual astronomy and astrophotography with the appropriate camera train.

Focusing and mechanical design

An air-spaced triplet objective and a separate single-lens field corrector provide a 49 mm corrected, illuminated field. The 4-inch rack-and-pinion focuser has 40 mm travel and 1:10 fine adjustment.

Imaging configuration

The M82 × 1 imaging interface and tilting unit support camera setup; the focuser is rated for a 6 kg photographic load. The manufacturer lists 102 mm backfocus from the 2-inch socket and 5.3 kg tube mass.
