TS-Optics Photoline 140 Carbon OTA

This 140 mm air-spaced triplet with two ED elements has a 910 mm focal length and f/6.5 focal ratio. It is intended for visual astronomy and astrophotography with the appropriate camera train.

Focusing and mechanical design

The carbon-fibre tube is paired with a 4-inch rack-and-pinion focuser, 110 mm travel and M102, M88 and M68 interfaces. Camera framing is adjustable by 360° rotation.

Imaging configuration

The manufacturer lists a 10 kg tube, 735 mm retracted length and 179 mm dew-shield diameter. Rings, handle, Losmandy-style rail and a case are listed. A matched flattener or reducer is separate.

Compatibility notes

Standard TSAPO140CF carbon-tube product used instead of the previously linked used item. Aluminium TSAPO140 measurements and condition are not transferred.
