Baader UFC Universal Filter Changer Tilter

The Baader UFC tilter provides up to 1 degree of camera-plane adjustment to compensate for tilt in the imaging train. It is designed for the compatible Baader UFC system.

Optical spacing and diameter

The exact manufacturer specification gives an optical length range of 9.75–10.50 mm and an outer diameter of 92 mm. Include this variable optical length in the camera-spacing budget when setting the tilter.

Connection arrangement

The UFC version uses the S70 interface and integrates with the modular Universal Filter Changer system. Tilt correction changes camera alignment; it does not replace setting the correct reducer or flattener backfocus.
