This 102 mm FPL55 air-spaced triplet has a 714 mm focal length and f/7 focal ratio. It is intended for visual astronomy and astrophotography with the appropriate camera train.
Focusing and mechanical design
The original model has a 3.7-inch dual-speed RAP focuser with 100 mm travel and M92, M82 and M63 female imaging threads.
Imaging configuration
With the focuser retracted, backfocus is 153 mm from the 2-inch socket, 178 mm from M63, 193 mm from M82 or 200 mm from M92. These reference surfaces must not be confused with the sensor spacing of an optional corrector.
Original TSCFAPO102 documented in the manufacturer display-item listing because the former regular URL now serves SR102GPS with different mechanics. Only original-model hardware specifications are used. Display condition, price and missing case/certificate do not describe this store product. Implausible 40 mm tube diameter omitted.
