This 203 mm Ritchey–Chrétien uses hyperbolic primary and secondary mirrors with 1624 mm focal length at f/8. The all-reflective optical layout is intended for imaging and can also be used visually with suitable accessories.
A separate focuser moves the eyepiece or camera without focusing by shifting the primary mirror. Extension rings are used to accommodate different optical trains. The table labels backfocus from the focuser socket separately from any distance measured from the rear tube surface.
This is the carbon fibre-tube configuration. Its published weight, secondary obstruction and mounting rails remain specific to this version; carbon and metal RC assemblies are not interchangeable specifications.
Carbon 8-inch RC with GP and Losmandy rails; not the 8.25 kg metal-tube version. Backfocus reference surfaces remain explicit.
