The Quattro 150P is a fast parabolic imaging Newtonian with a nominal 150 mm aperture and 600 mm native focal length at f/4. Its low-expansion borosilicate primary is intended to reduce sensitivity to changing temperature during an imaging session.
Optical correction
The dedicated 0.86× reducer/coma corrector changes the 150P configuration to 518 mm f/3.45. Sky-Watcher Japan specifies this corrector for APS-C or smaller sensors, with an M48 male camera connection and an M48 female filter thread. The native tube remains 600 mm f/4.
Focusing and structure
The 150P uses a 2-inch dual-speed Crayford focuser with 10:1 fine adjustment. The listed finder is 6×30.
Native f/4 and reduced f/3.45 are distinguished using manufacturer Japan documentation. The global page labels f/3.45 without explaining the corrector; Japanese supplied accessories are not silently treated as a universal regional bundle.
