EQ6 extension tube

The EQ6 extension tube raises the mount head to improve clearance and viewing access with a long refractor.

Construction and position

Sky-Watcher describes a heavy-duty metal tube installed between the EQ6 tripod and mount head, adding approximately 8 inches to the assembly height while retaining a rigid support.

Interface

This is the EQ6-family extension, not the Wave carbon-fibre extension. The global manufacturer page does not separately certify every later EQ6-R/AZ-EQ6 adapter revision.
