EQ6 SynScan GoTo upgrade kit

This kit upgrades a compatible EQ6 mounting to SynScan computerised GoTo operation using replacement RA/DEC motor and control components.

Supplied components

The manufacturer lists RA and DEC motors, a SynScan hand controller, RS-232 cable, power cable, controller holder, control panel, connecting cable and polar-scope illuminator.

Installation

The motors and control panel must be installed using Sky-Watcher’s EQ6 upgrade procedure. The kit is specifically identified for EQ6; it is not an upgrade kit for EQ6-R or an arbitrary mount carrying a similar name.
