TS-Optics Photoline 102 OTA

This 102 mm FPL53 and lanthanum air-spaced doublet has a 714 mm focal length and f/7 focal ratio. It is intended for visual astronomy and astrophotography with the appropriate camera train.

Focusing and mechanical design

The original Photoline tube uses a 2.5-inch dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser. TS documents the same OTA within its corrected photographic bundle.

Imaging configuration

This listing is the native OTA; a bundled corrector is not assumed. The original source is internally inconsistent: prose gives 714 mm native focal length while its table gives 711 mm. The optional corrector uses 55 mm spacing from its M48 camera connection.

Original TSAPO102F7 OTA identified in TS’s own corrected-bundle documentation. Only OTA data and separately labelled optional corrector information are used. Manufacturer prose says 714 mm native focal length while table says 711 mm; unresolved. The newer SR102GPA is not substituted.
