ZWO FF110 + AM7 + PE200 + TC40 Package

This ZWO package combines the FF110 flat-field apochromatic refractor, AM7 strain-wave mount, PE200 pier extension and TC40 carbon-fibre tripod. Manufacturer bundle variants list these four named components together.

Flat-field telescope

The FF110 uses a four-element air-spaced APO objective with one ED element. Its 110 mm aperture and 766 mm focal length give f/7, with a 44 mm image circle and no separate external field flattener required. The 3-inch rack-and-pinion focuser has 1:10 fine adjustment and a 360° camera rotator.

Camera connection and tube sizing

The manufacturer imaging focus range is 42–73 mm from M54–M48 shoulder. Maximum optical paths are 73 mm at M48 and 91 mm at M54; use the reference shoulder specified in the manufacturer diagram. The tube weighs 5.74 kg, or 6.76 kg with handle, rings and dovetail plate. Retracted/extended visual and imaging lengths are listed below.

Mount performance and power

The AM7 offers equatorial and alt-azimuth modes with 20 kg without counterweight; 30 kg with counterweight. Its body weighs 6.75 kg, the saddle accepts Vixen and Losmandy plates, and latitude adjustment spans 0–90°. Use 12 V DC, at least 5 A; 5.5 × 2.1 mm centre positive. USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and ST4 connections support the documented control options.

Pier extension and tripod

The PE200 provides elevation between mount and tripod. The standard aluminium tube weighs 1.6 kg and has a manufacturer structural rating up to 50 kg; the optional open-pillar conversion has a lower rating. The TC40 weighs 2.3 kg, adjusts from 470 to 800 mm and has 40/36 mm two-section carbon-fibre legs with a ballast bag. Its 50 kg structural rating is separate from the imaging payload of the mount.

System planning

Telescope, camera, filter wheel, adapters and cables all contribute to the imaging load and clearance envelope. Follow the mount’s counterweight and lever-arm guidance and use the lowest applicable component limit. A camera and any optional reducer, filters or counterweight are separate from the four components named in this package.
