The Wave carbon-fibre tripod is a lightweight support designed for Sky-Watcher Wave mounts. Its carbon-fibre construction is intended for portable observing and imaging setups.
Sky-Watcher USA lists a 44 lb tripod payload. This is a support rating, separate from the Wave head’s telescope payload; account for the complete load borne by the tripod.
Use the appropriate Wave mounting interface and optional extension for the selected head. A tripod does not increase the mount’s own instrument capacity.
