The Indigo is a seven-position electronic filter wheel for 2-inch mounted or 50 mm unmounted filters. Its direct-drive stepper motor and optical position sensor provide repeatable selection, with bidirectional movement choosing the shortest route between filters.
The CNC-machined aluminium body is 19 mm thick, or 19.6 mm with slide adapters installed on both faces. Maximum filter height depends on the connection: 8 mm with the direct OAG hole pattern, 6.4 mm with threaded slide adapters, or 6 mm with the slot cover ring.
The manufacturer documents M54 and M42 threaded options, a six-hole 62 mm camera pattern and a four-hole 85 mm pattern. Rotatable slide adapters allow the camera and telescope-side orientation to be set before securing the screws.
One USB 2.0 Type-B cable supplies both communication and 5 V power. The wheel draws 300 mA during movement and weighs 900 g. Unity includes the ASCOM driver, with INDI and INDIGO support also documented.
