10Micron V2 GPS Receiver

The 10Micron 10M4105 standard GPS module supplies observing-site coordinates, date and time to the mount controller, reducing manual entry at a field installation.

V2 and V3 connections

The manufacturer specifies a PS/2 plug for direct Control Box V3 connection and includes an RJ/PS2 adapter cable for older Control Box V2 systems. The store’s V2 label does not mean that the standard receiver is limited to V2.

Receiver choice

This is the standard GPS module, distinct from the separate PPS timing receiver. Match the physical connection and controller version; an optional GPS module does not replace the mount’s pointing-model procedure.

10M4105 standard receiver checked. Current manufacturer documentation supports both V2 and V3 through the specified adapter arrangement. PPS precision and timing specifications from 10M4115 are not copied into this record.
