TEC APO 160 FL Compact Case

The TEC compact case is designed around the APO160FL, with a hard-sided construction and nylon exterior. It is made in the USA in coordination with Tenba.

Dimensions and padding

Exterior dimensions are 40 × 9 × 9 inches, with an interior of 39 × 8 × 8 inches. Zipped interior access allows the wall padding to be customised around the telescope and accessories.

Carrying and storage

An adjustable shoulder strap, hand straps and handles along both sides provide several carrying options. A front pocket adds storage. These are the manufacturer’s case dimensions; airline acceptance depends on the carrier and route.

Compatibility notes

The 160 case page prints 6 lb and 2.2 kg, which are not equivalent; mass is omitted rather than selecting an unsupported conversion.
