Bresser 230V to 12V 2A Power Pack

Bresser Universal Power Supply 230/12V, 2.0A — compact mains supply for 12 V mounts

The Bresser Universal Power Supply 230/12V, 2.0A (item 4930010) is a compact plug-in mains adapter delivering 12 V DC at up to 2000 mA. Bresser offers it as a wall adapter for 12 V telescopes and mounts, including Explore Scientific's PMC-Eight GoTo mounts.

Wide mains input

The supply accepts 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, so it works on European 230 V mains and on other common mains voltages.

Listed compatibility

Bresser lists this supply as suitable for the Explore Scientific iEXOS-100 PMC-Eight WiFi GoTo mount and the Explore Scientific EXOS II PMC-Eight GoTo mount. For other equipment, check that the device needs 12 V DC, draws no more than 2 A, and has a connector and polarity matching this supply.

Safe use

Bresser advises checking that the output voltage and current match the connected device before use. Connect the supply to the device first and then to the wall socket. Do not cover the adapter, keep it away from moisture, and stop using it if the housing or cable is damaged or it becomes unusually hot. Do not open or repair the unit.
