TS-Optics CF-APO 80 f/6 FPL55 Triplet OTA

This 80 mm FPL55 air-spaced triplet has a 480 mm focal length and f/6 focal ratio. It is intended for visual astronomy and astrophotography with the appropriate camera train.

Focusing and mechanical design

A 2.5-inch rack-and-pinion focuser supports up to 6 kg of accessories. It provides an M63 × 1 threaded imaging interface as well as 2-inch and 1.25-inch visual connections.

Imaging configuration

The optional TSREDJM63S reduces this model to 384 mm f/4.8. TS also lists a 0.92× and a 1.0× corrector; use the spacing for the selected corrector. A Vixen-style rail, handle, rings and case are listed.

Original TSCFAPO80 FPL55 triplet. Corrector spacing is accessory-specific; the native telescope backfocus is not a corrector sensor-spacing value.
