The CDK24 is a 610 mm Corrected Dall-Kirkham astrograph with a 3974 mm focal length and a flat, coma- and astigmatism-free 70 mm image circle, for observatory-class research and imaging.
Fused silica mirrors and a carbon fibre truss with aluminium light shroud minimise focus shift with temperature. Cooling fans and Delta-T-ready mirror heaters keep the optics stable and clear of dew.
