The USB Control Hub provides six powered USB 3.1 Gen1 ports for a telescope setup. Each port can have both data and power switched independently through software, allowing a connected device to be power-cycled without removing its cable.
The specified SuperSpeed rate is up to 5 Gbps, with USB2 and USB1 compatibility. Each port can provide up to 2.5 A, subject to the 8 A total USB-current limit. The hub requires 12–14 V DC; the supply capacity should match the connected equipment.
Pegasus specifies −40 to +85 °C operation, a blue-anodised 6061 aluminium enclosure, input-voltage protection and port current limiting. Dimensions are 100 × 72 × 24 mm and mass is 200 g.
Unity, ASCOM Switch and INDI support port control. A 1.5 m USB3 Type-A to Type-B host lead is included. This is the original six-port USB Control Hub, not the later v2 model.
