Artesky Telescope Protective Cover Size L

Artesky Telescope Protective Cover, Large (150 × 180 cm)

The Artesky Large cover is designed for large telescopes, including instruments on bulky tripods, professional equatorial mounts and permanent piers. It shields against dust, moisture, wind and direct sunlight.

Reflective outside, black inside

The silver outer coating reflects sunlight to minimise heating of the optical tube and accessories, while the black inner lining helps prevent condensation. The cover is made from heavy-duty, high-density technical fabric with reinforced stitching and a water-repellent finish. The smooth lining avoids snagging on controls and connectors.

Suitable telescopes

Artesky recommends this size for large Dobsonians up to 12 inches; long APO refractors up to 150 mm on heavy mounts; SCT or RC telescopes up to 14 inches on equatorial or alt-azimuth mounts; and permanently installed telescopes.

Usage note

The cover is not a replacement for a permanent outdoor enclosure. For prolonged use or in high humidity, place a cotton cloth over the telescope before fitting the waterproof cover, to prevent condensation.
