This four-filter 2-inch Baader LRGB set is intended for colour imaging with a monochrome CMOS or CCD camera. It contains luminance, red, green and blue filters, with mounted, 5.5 mm ulp cell construction and 2 mm glass thickness.
The manufacturer lists L at 420–685 nm, R at 595–690 nm, G at 490–580 nm and B at 400–510 nm. The luminance filter combines UV/IR rejection with a stated 98% transmission across its visible passband. The RGB channels are balanced for similar exposure times.
Reflex-Blocker hard coatings reduce reflections, while Life-Coat sealed coating edges and blackened filter edges address edge reflections and durability. Each filter is plane-optically polished. The black outer-rim indicator identifies the telescope-facing side.
Baader specifies use from f/15 to f/1.8. The filters are designed for parfocal operation, but residual colour focus in a telescope can still require individual focus offsets or refocusing. The current manufacturer variant table identifies the mounted version as a 5.5 mm ULP cell.
Baader manufacturer documentation
Exact LRGB set SKU and format matched; 36 mm is unmounted and 1.25/2-inch are mounted. Current variant mounting height is 5.5 mm ULP; an older website Q&A refers to a 6 mm generation. The 98% transmission claim refers to L, not a numeric RGB transmission guarantee. Per-filter focus should be checked in the actual telescope.
